Ortho Movement Powergel Heel Spur Pad is a gel heel pad for adults, used in shoes to contribute to pressure relief and shock absorption in the heel area. It can be used when the heel needs relief, for example with complaints consistent with heel spur (plantar fasciitis). It is a CE-marked Class I medical device intended for self-care.

How to use

1. Place the pad in the shoe according to the left/right marking.
2. Make sure it lies flat and stable in the shoe.
3. Sensitive spot in the heel: remove the orange centre. General need for support and shock absorption: leave the centre in place.
4. An adjustment period may occur during the first few days of use.

Do not use with

• Open wounds or skin damage in the contact area
• Active infection in the foot
• Severe peripheral neuropathy
• Severe circulatory impairment

Care and lifespan

Clean with lukewarm water and mild soap and let air dry at room temperature. Do not expose to high temperatures and do not machine wash. The gel regains its grip after cleaning. Store dry at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Recommended use is 6-12 months depending on frequency of use and load. Replace the pad if it shows visible wear, deformation or reduced function.
